The Roaring 20's!

In the month of November, middle school students studied the 1920's. In class, we read brief articles and identified the most important information. Independently, students researched iconic figures and wrote biographies in first person. Last Tuesday, students dressed up and presented these biographies as monologues. After being sent on a wild goose chase, students ended up at The Cat's Pajamas, a "speakeasy" where they enjoyed music from the 1920's, played by Seminar student Joe H, and soda (a contraband item here at CS!) Right before 3:00, the police (otherwise known as Michi and Holly!) busted up our party!

Check out the pictures of the 1920's at Community School!
