Gilded Age Projects Complete!

The Gilded Age Project: Part 1

In social studies, we've been reading and discussing the Gilded Age in the United States. To illustrate the meaning of the term, we are creating beautiful, gilded picture frames from old junk. The students all hot glued their small junk on today and we'll "gild" (aka spray paint!) tomorrow!





Photo Story Projects!

At the beginning of the school year, students wrote poems inspired by George Ella Lyon's Where I'm From. After bringing in family photographs, most students created a Photo Story. Here are a few!
